释义	layaway n. 分期预付购货协议零售商与顾客之间的协议，约定零售商持有商品，以待将来出售给该顾客，即卖主留出该商品，并在将来以约定价格出售给顾客。顾客则预付部分价款，并可以就分期付款〔progress payment〕等其他条件与卖主达成协议。一旦货款付清，则由顾客取得该商品。
