释义	novation n. 债的更新；债的变更一个源自罗马法并引入普通法的概念，指用一项新的债取代一项已存在的债，使后者的效力得以消灭。其更新方式有三种：１用新的债务人取代原来的债务人；２用新的债权人取代原来的债权人；３以新的债务内容——例如一项新的合同——取代原来的债务内容，而原债的当事人保持不变。
