| 释义 | Objective evidence of an EIA exercise as a written record submitted to the deciding authority. It proposes measures to avoid, mitigate, or offset adverse effects and impacts. An EIR is only a part of the EIA process and not the final end-product of the EIA. An EIR identifies and assesses the likely environmental effects of continuing operations of an existing facility or potentially those of a proposed project. Known also as an environmental impact statement (EIS). |
