| 释义 | A citizen member of a jury. Citizen selected from a constituency’s electoral register in a court’s jurisdiction. Person must swear to answer all questions posed by the judge or involved lawyers truthfully. Must swear to give an unbiased verdict merit-based on presented evidence only. Selection dismissal can occur if the potential juror has (1) personal case knowledge, (2) prejudices and biases about the trial issues, (3) some relationship with any party involved, or (4) a some relationship with one of the lawyers involved. |
