In a conflict of laws situation, a court may have to apply the lex loci situs, viz. the legal rules of the place where the prop- erty in question is situated (or in some cases where it was situated at the time of some legally relevant transaction). It is most usually applied to IMMOVEABLE PROPERTY. |
