单词 | barter |
释义 | barter barter exchanging one thing for another. If there is money involved40 behaviour (a part exchange) then the transaction is probably one of sale. The incidents of the contract in England in relation to goods are governed by the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, as amended by the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994. In Scotland, by virtue of the 1994 Act, the 1982 Act is broadly applied. The position in both jurisdic- tions is that barter is now governed by the same kind of implied terms as a sale.
