good leasehold title A form of title to registered leasehold land (see land registration) that is equivalent to absolute leasehold title (see absolute title) except that the landlord’s right to grant the lease is not guaranteed. Good leasehold title usually occurs when the lease appears valid on the face of it but the documents proving the landlord’s title, or any superior lessor’s title, have not been registered at the Land Registry. |
