Official Solicitor
An officer of the Senior Courts who, when directed by the court, acts as litigation friend (next friend) or children’s guardian for those under a disability who have no one else to act for them; he may also be called upon to intervene and protect the interests of children. He can be appointed judicial trustee in proceedings relating to disputed trusts. |
