programme requirement
A requirement that may be imposed by a sentencing court as part of a community order or a suspended sentence order under the Criminal Justice Act 2003 or as part of a youth rehabilitation programme under the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008. The offender is required to take part in an accredited programme that is designed to change the attitudes and behaviours that led to his offending.
