prospectus
n. A document inviting the public to invest in shares or debt securities of a public company (see flotation). The prospectus of a listed company, or the listing particulars in respect of debt securities of a listed company, must contain the information required by the Financial Conduct Authority. The prospectus of an unlisted company must comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. |
