释义 | incommunicado incommunicado without a means of communicating. By statute in England a person detained is not supposed to be kept incommuni- cado: Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.In Scotland the position is much the same except for cases of deten- tion under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980, which allows the police to detain a person for a fixed time, without access to a solicitor.
