释义 | Law Society of Scotland Law Society of Scotland the statutory body that both represents and controls SOLICITORS in Scotland, established initially by the Solic- itors (Scotland) Act 1949. Its executive body is the elected Council and day-to-day business is administered by a permanent secretariat. It is not responsible for discipline as such, that being the preserve of another statutory body, the Scottish Solicitors Discipline Tribunal. The Law Society of Scotland administers a guarantee fund. |
