释义 | legal executive legal executive qualified lawyers who are not solicitors or barristers, who have at least five years' experience of working under the super- vision of a solicitor in legal practice or the legal department of a pri- vate company or in local/national government. They have to pass INSTITUTE OF LEGAL EXECUTIVES' (ILEX) qualifying examinations in their area of legal practice. Fellows are issued with an annual prac- tising certificate of ILEX and may describe themselves as legal exec- utives. They specialise in a particular area of legal work. Should they so wish, their qualifications and experience allow them entry to the final stages of the solicitor's qualification scheme – the Legal Practice Course (LPC) and the Professional Skills Course (PSC). |
