Modern Slavery Act 2015 An Act that consolidates and extends earlier legislation prohibiting forced labour and human trafficking. The Act prohibits various forms of exploitation as defined in section 3 and makes it an offence to arrange or facilitate the travel of any person with a view to such exploitation (s 2). Section 54 requires large companies to produce an annual public report on steps they have taken to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in their supply chain. |
