Rules of the Supreme Court
(RSC) Formerly, rules governing the practice and procedure of the Supreme Court of Judicature. The rules were made under a statutory power by the Supreme Court Rule Committee, a body appointed by the Lord Chancellor and comprising himself, the Master of the Rolls, the heads of the Divisions of the High Court, and four practitioners. The Rules were revoked in 1999 by the Civil Procedure Rules, which have re-enacted some of the rules of the RSC. |
