search before Crown Court
The searching of a person before the Crown Court when that person has been ordered by the court to pay a fine or to pay money for some other reason (e.g. where the court has made a compensation order or where a person has forfeited a recognizance). Any money found on the person may be applied towards payment of the fine or other sum payable by him, with any balance being returned to him. |
