释义	trustee in bankruptcy A person in whom the property of a bankrupt is vested for the benefit of the bankrupt’s creditors. The trustee in bankruptcy (either a licensed insolvency practitioner or the official receiver) must collect the bankrupt’s assets, sell them, and distribute the proceeds among those with valid claims against the bankrupt.
