benefits in kind
Goods or services supplied by an employer to an employee. A director or employee receiving benefits in kind from his employer (and, sometimes, from third parties) is (generally) subject to income tax on the cost suffered by the employer in providing the benefit (Income Tax (Earnings and Pensions) Act 2003 s 63–220). |
