n. Crime committed over the Internet. No specific laws exist to cover cybercrime, but such crimes might include hacking; hacking with intent to commit further offences; unauthorized acts causing or creating serious risk of damage; distributing or possessing (i.e. downloading) obscene images of children (see obscene publications); defamation over the Internet; copyright infringement; and fraud. |
