释义 |
ancillary relief A court order incidental to another order or application, especially a financial provision order or a property adjustment order made in the course of proceedings for divorce, separation, or nullity under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 (or their civil partnership equivalents). In this sense the term has started to fall into disuse, as the Family Procedure Rules 2010 use the term application for a financial order instead. Financial provision or property adjustment orders will not take effect until after the divorce order, etc. is made final. |
