annual value of land
The annual rent that might reasonably be expected from letting land or buildings, if the tenant pays all usual rates and taxes while other expenses (including repairs) are borne by the landlord. Annual value of land is the basis on which business rates are levied. HM Revenue and Customs carries out the valuation. |
