derecognition
n. A process whereby notice is given by an establishment or company to terminate union recognition. Employees continue to have the right to belong to a trade union, but the employer no longer negotiates with them collectively: terms and conditions previously the subject of collective bargaining are negotiated individually or with groups of employees unconnected with trade unions, resulting in a personal contract.
