Director of Service Prosecutions (DSP) The head of the Service Prosecuting Authority (SPA), who must be a lawyer of at least ten years’ general qualification. The DSP, through the SPA, is responsible for the conduct of all service prosecutions before the Court Martial and the Service Civilian Court under the Armed Forces Act 2006. The DSP is appointed by the Queen and discharges his functions under the superintendence of the Attorney General. |
