familial child sexual offences
The Sexual Offences Act 2003 creates a number of offences, all formerly categorized as incest, relating to sexual activities amongst family members: these include sexual activity with a child family member (s 25), inciting a child family member to engage in sexual activity (s 26). Sexual activity includes any form of intentional touching that is sexual in nature. The maximum sentence is 14 years’ imprisonment. |
