gross indecency
Formerly, a sexual act considered to be more than ordinary indecency but not involving actual intercourse. Under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 certain consensual acts formerly categorized as acts of gross indecency were decriminalized, whereas other acts were recategorized under the new offences of sexual assault and sexual activity with a child. |
