reparation order
An order of the court made against a child or young person who has been convicted of an offence, requiring him to make specific reparations to the victim or to the community at large (Glossary to the Criminal Procedure Rules). It usually requires the offender to undertake specific activities relevant to the offence: for example, a person convicted of criminal damage may be required to spend time restoring damaged property. |
