restricted-use credit agreement (under the Consumer Credit Act 1974) A regulated consumer-credit agreement that either (1) finances a transaction (which may or may not form part of the agreement) between the debtor and the creditor, e.g. a purchase of goods; (2) finances a transaction between the debtor and a person (the supplier) other than the creditor; or (3) refinances any existing indebtedness of the debtor’s, to either the creditor or another person. |
