NHS Resolution A Special Health Authority, established in 1995 as the NHS Litigation Authority, that is responsible for handling negligence claims made against NHS bodies in England. The Authority also promotes improvement in the standards of patient care and provides an information service for the NHS on human rights case law (see Human Rights Act). It is part of the NHS.
