The disclosure of private, sexual photographs or videos of another person without their consent and in order to cause embarrassment or distress. The area is now governed by section 33 of the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015; prior to this use was made of the Communications Act 2003, the Malicious Communications Act 1988, and the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
