释义	Official Custodian for Charities A corporation sole created by the Charities Act 1960 for the purpose of acting as a custodian trustee of property held for charitable purposes. Land held in this way is said to be “vested” in the Official Custodian. The rules are now governed by the Charities Act 2011: the Official Custodian acts as trustee in the circumstances provided for by section 21 and schedule 2.
