order n. 1. A decision of the court other than a judgment (which is the final decision of the court in relation to a claim). Rules relating to judgments and orders are to be found in Part 40 of the Civil Procedure Rules. 2. The document bearing the seal of the court recording its decision in a case. 3. A subdivision of the Rules of the Supreme Court and the County Court Rules, some of which are retained in Schedules 1 and 2 to the Civil Procedure Rules. |
