address for service
The address, which a party to court proceedings gives to the court and/or the other party, to which all the formal documents relating to the proceedings should be delivered. Notices delivered at that address (which may be, for example, the address of his solicitors) are binding on the party concerned. Relevant rules are contained in Part 6 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
