Claim Production Centre
(CPC) An organization within the administrative structure of the county courts system for the production of summonses issued by large-scale users of the county court, particularly utilities companies. It is located in Northampton. Around 90% of all claims are now dealt with in electronic form through the County Court Bulk Centre (CCBC), which was established on the same site in 1990. Where the defendant contests the claim (or some part of it), the matter is transferred to the local county court. |
