group litigation
In civil proceedings, a procedure in which the court makes a Group Litigation Order (GLO) where a large number of claims give rise to common or related issues of fact or law. Such claims might include personal injury claims arising from a public transport disaster, industrial disease, or the side effects of a medicine.
