In 1996 the Law Commission published a four-volume Chronological Table of Local Legislation to help those wanting to find out whether a local Act has been passed that affects them or their property. The table lists all 26,500 or so local Acts passed since 1797 and states whether or not they are in force and how they have been amended. |
