释义 |
professional registrant A person registered with a professional regulator in order to be granted the right to practise or undertake training in their given profession. For example, in accordance with the Medical Act 1983, a qualified doctor, specialist trainee, or consultant must register with the General Medical Council in order to practise in the UK, as must a foundation or general practice. Similar requirements exist in the regulation of other professions, such as law (see Solicitors Regulation Authority). |
