| 释义 | 製造上欠妥之處 A defect introduced into a product as a consequence of the fallibility of the manufacturing process, which renders the product different in some respect or respects from what was intended by the manufacturer. A defect in manufacture may result either from contamination (Donoghue v Stevenson [1932] AC 562 (HL)) or faulty workmanship (Crocodile Garments Ltd v Law Kwai Yuk (t/a Winful Fashion Co) (HCA 2923/96, unreported) in the course of manufacture.
