释义 | 指令 Lat – let it be done. 1. An authorisation, sanction, consent, short order or warrant of a public officer. 2. A consent of the Secretary for Justice or of the Chief Executive for the initiation of the prosecution of an offence. Some offences require the specific consent of either the Secretary for Justice or the Chief Executive. For example, the consent of the Secretary for Justice for the prosecution of the offence of incest is required: Crimes Ordinance (Cap 200) s 51; and the consent of the Chief Executive for the prosecution of an indictable offence, other than the offence of piracy, which is allegedly committed within the waters of Hong Kong by a non-Chinese citizen on board a non-Hong Kong ship is required: s 23C.
