or inconsiderate driving An offence inserted into the Road Traffic Act 1988 (s 2B) by the Road Safety Act 2006 (s 20): it is committed by a person who causes the death of another person while driving without due care and attention, or without reasonable consideration for other road users. The offence covers those cases where a person’s driving leads to fatal consequences but the standard of driving does not amount to being dangerous nor is the driver under the influence of drink or drugs. |
