exclusion requirement
1. A requirement that may be imposed by a sentencing court as part of a community order or a suspended sentence order under the Criminal Justice Act 2003 or as part of a youth rehabilitation order under the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008. An offender is prohibited from entering a specific place or area for a period of up to two years. Compliance is usually monitored by electronic tagging. 2. A requirement in an emergency protection order or an interim care order that a person who is suspected of having abused a child is excluded from the child’s home. A power of arrest may be attached to the order. |
