going equipped A person is guilty of “going equipped” if, when not at his place of abode, he has with him any article for use in the course of or in connection with any burglary or theft (Theft Act 1968 s 25). A “place of abode” is not defined in the Act but has a wide meaning (R v Bundy [1977] 1 WLR 914 (CA)). |
