interim appeal
(interlocutory appeal) An appeal against an order made during the pretrial stage of civil litigation. Generally, appeals from district judges and masters are to the High Court or a county court circuit judge; appeals from a decision of a county court circuit judge are to a High Court judge or to the Court of Appeal; and appeals from a High Court judge are to the Court of Appeal (Civil Division).
