proof of age
The age of a person may be proved by direct evidence, such as the testimony of someone present at the person’s birth, and in some cases by inferences from his appearance. It is usually proved by producing a birth certificate, under the exception to the hearsay rule relating to statements in public documents, and evidence that the person in question is the person referred to in the birth certificate. |
