释义	保證金不足的帳戶 An account in which the amount of money a client deposits with a stock broker in the account, against which the client can borrow to buy securities, drops below the margin requirements. That means the equity remaining is not enough for the account to hold the current position on margin. When this happens the stockbroker will make a margin call which requires the client to either deposit more money in the account or sell some of the assets. See also Margin account. 客戶向股票經紀存放款額的帳戶，該客戶以該帳戶的款額抵付借款以購買證券，但該款額下降至超過保證金的規定。即表示剩餘的股權並不足以使帳戶以保證金形式保持現存的持倉量。若發生此情況，股票經紀會作出補交保證金通知，要求該客戶在該帳戶存放更多款項或出售若干資產。另見 Margin account。
