Service Civilian Court
Under the Armed Forces Act 2006, a court convened for the trial of lesser offences committed by civilians who are subject to service discipline, for example the families of servicemen or women. The court consists of a single judge advocate and may sit in any place, whether within or outside the UK. Appeals from the Service Civilian Court lie to the Court Martial. See service law. |
