Coroners - In coronial law, the findings of a jury as to the identity, date and place of death, and the manner and cause of death, of a deceased person; or as to the date, place and circumstances of a fire or explosion. Previously a coroner or a jury was required to reach a ‘verdict’ as to the death of the person or the subject of the inquest. Now the expressions ‘findings’ and ‘conclusion’ are used. 死因裁判官 - 在死因裁判法上，陪審團就死者的身份、死亡日期、地點、方式及因由作出的裁斷；或就火災或爆炸作出有關事發日期、地點及情況的裁斷。以往規定死因裁判官或陪審員須就某人的死亡或研訊的對象作出「裁決」。現時則使用「裁斷」及「結論」這兩個用語。另見 Finding; Open verdict。 n. |
