| 释义 | 學徒 A person who agrees to learn a trade or occupation in a contract of apprenticeship: Apprenticeship Ordinance (Cap 47) s 2. An employer, who employs a young person aged between 14 and 19 in the designated trade, has to enter into a contract of apprenticeship with such person unless such person has completed an apprenticeship and possesses a certificate of completion in that trade: s 6(1). Examples of the designated trades include bamboo scaffolding, bookbinding, bricklaying, and plastering: Apprenticeship (Designation of Trades) (Consolidation) Order (Cap 47B). Apprentices have obligations in relation to accepting instruction and training and undertaking courses of study: ss 13, 14.
