| 释义 | 儲蓄帳戶 An interest bearing account opened with a bank. Unlike a current account it cannot usually be drawn upon by cheque. An overdrawn savings account cannot exist at law: Barclays Bank v Okenarhe [1966] 2 Lloyd’s Rep 87. Savings accounts offer lower interest rates than term deposits. Also known as ‘deposit account’.
