| 释义 | 教育 1. The process of acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies. The process may be formal, that is, undertaken through structured courses of study at primary, secondary or tertiary level, or informal, that is, acquired by experience of life generally or by learning by experience in the workplace. 2. The provision of tuition and other services to enable individuals to undertake a structured course of study at primary, secondary or tertiary level. The Education Ordinance confers upon the Chief Executive in Council the power to make regulations covering a broad range of activities incidental to the operation of schools with particular emphasis on the health, safety and welfare of teachers and pupils and the protection of the integrity of the education system, or providing for anything which is to be prescribed under the Education Ordinance: Education Ordinance (Cap 279) s 84(1), (2).
