释义	可公訴罪行 Any crime or offence for which a magistrate is authorised or empowered or required to commit the accused person to prison for trial before the court: Magistrates Ordinance (Cap 227) s 2. Any offence other than an offence which is triable only summarily: Crimes Ordinance (Cap 200) s 23A. ‘Triable summarily’ means triable by a magistrate, in accordance with the provisions of the Magistrates Ordinance (Cap 227): Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap 1) s 3. Whether an offence is indictable depends upon the particular jurisdiction. There are different classes of indictable offences in some jurisdictions.
